Sep  12^th, 2008,Shanghai, China - Shera International Limited, a Shanghai based company that develops and manufactures products and solutions for the payment industry, has appointed Trent Peterson as President and Chief Executive Officer of Shera International.  Mr. Peterson will head the executive team to lead the company's portfolio businesses, growth and branding.

Mr. Peterson was most recently Vice President USA for Shera and Blue Bamboo, leading the regional team and accelerating the sales and market penetration of Blue Bamboo’s integrated terminal, printer and software products.

Prior to Shera, Mr. Peterson spent five years with VeriSign and more than ten years working with emerging markets, technology and supply chain management.  He held various global assignments and gained core competencies across multiple functional disciplines, demonstrating the ability to combine strong leadership with sales execution, financial management and new product introduction. In addition, he supported the process of integrating acquisitions and divestiture of multiple portfolio companies both at VeriSign and in past positions.
