The PocketPOS mobile merchant solution includes a Bluetooth enabled P25-M Printer, card reader(All in one), featuring Master Key/Session Key and DUKPT security protocols and a secure wireless payment application to quickly process credit card, cash and check transactions and print receipts using a mobile handset, PDA or laptop. The built-for-purpose Blue Bamboo P25-M Printer as well as Blue Bamboo’s PocketPOS Mobile Merchant Solution is now available for deployment.
AT&T certification establishes an independently verified evaluation of quality, and it indicates Blue Bamboo and PocketPOS have met the standards of a major mobile carrier. The certification attests to the reliability and security of PocketPOS, and confirms that our application will not install spyware or viruses.
Blue Bamboo’s PocketPOS suite of applications are Java-based applets that run on P25-M Printer and mobile cellular handsets, enabling mobile merchants to reduce fraud and loss from mobile sales by using a cellular telephone or Personal Digital Assistant to accept and verify credit card and check guarantee transactions. Savings of between 30 % - 70 % in transaction fees are achieved by processing at swiped retail rates and reducing charge backs by having signed receipts for every sale.
