BlueBox™ is a WLAN Bluetooth Integration Server that enables Blue Bamboo's POS devices to integrate wirelessly in to PMS / POS systems and IP networks. Designed especially for secure payment transaction routing, its Class 1, 2.1+EDR Bluetooth radio is able to host up to 35 terminals of which 7 may simultaneously perform transactions up to 100 meters away. Network connectivity is available through a standard 10/100 Ethernet port and optionally can be connected to a wireless network by installing a third party WiFi or GPRS adaptor. System Integrators and third party developers will enjoy its rich set of development tools including its embedded LinuxTM operating system, 16MB of Flash memory, SDK, and remote configuration and management. Its high level connectivity makes it the ideal product for WLAN communication with Blue Bamboo Bluetooth terminals.
